Former England all-rounder Dermot Reeve will join the New Zealand coaching staff later this week as a specialist bowling coach for the two Twenty20 internationals against the West Indies.
Reeve, who played in 29 one-day internationals and three Tests - all against New Zealand - for England between 1991 and 1996, was appointed coach of Central Districts earlier this year and has led the Stags to the top of the State Championship at the halfway point of the 2008/09 season.
New Zealand coach Andy Moles said: "Dermot's experience as a coach and as a top-level bowler will bring extra depth and focus to our preparation for these games. He is a good example of us bringing in talented coaches to broaden and stimulate new thinking with our players."
